At Aprender y Beber we believe that you can unwind at Happy Hour and improve your Spanish too! We believe that learning a language should be a fun and social experience, and what better place to enjoy socializing in Spanish than in a bar! You don’t have to save your conversation skills for a classroom or a foreign country, they can open doors to new experiences, to improving your skills and to meeting new and interesting people right here! So, come share stories of adventures, travels, and dreams with fellow Spanish speakers that are learning just like you, with the help and support of a professional Spanish instructor, all while sipping on delicious cocktails! Lower those Spanish speaking jitters and have a mojito!
When you register you will get access to a weekly vocabulary list with useful and fun words on the free flashcard website; www.quizlet.com. They are all ready for you to put on your mobile device and learn anywhere or on your computer and learn there!
Your language skills will be supported through the use of conversation cards that can help you keep your chatting going with ice breaker questions, cultural tidbits, news items from the Spanish speaking world or grammar/word challenges. You should never feel at a loss for words! Feel free to skip any that don’t interest you, and always ask all the questions you like. Curiosity and wonder bring language to life!
Please have an intermediate level or above for Wednesdays and be ready to chat!!
